Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.


Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14-day return period begins on the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.

If the goods are shipped in multiple shipments, the 14-day return period begins on the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have received the last shipment.

If the goods are shipped in as part of a regular delivery over a period of time (e.g. subscription), the 14-day return period begins on the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have received the first shipment.

To qualify for the cancellation of the contract, the goods must be unused and in the same condition in which you received them. The goods must also be in their original packaging together with receipt of the original contract.

To realize your right of withdrawal, you must send us a clear notification, preferably using the form below but not mandatory, of your decision to revoke the contract either by post to Vegshelf UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Lindenstr. 48-52, 40233 Düsseldorf, Germany; or by e-mail to hi@gourmiegoods.com. Consequences of Contract Cancellation

If you revoke the contract, we shall refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the most favorable standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received the notification of your revocation of the contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you, at no additional cost to you.

We reserve the right to extend the time period for repayment until we have received the goods or until we have received proof from you that you have returned the goods to us.

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than in 14 days from the day on which you notify us on the revocation of the contract.

You shall bear the costs of returning the goods.

 

Reasons for Exclusion or Expiry

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

  • for delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
  • for delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would soon be exceeded;
  • for delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if their seal has been removed after delivery;
  • for delivery of goods that must be stored refrigerated to maintain its original qualities and characteristics.
