Brisling sprats from the Baltic Sea, mildly seasoned with allspice and cloves — Fangst’s modern take on the traditional Nordic sardine. For generations, these small fish were landed along Scandinavian and Baltic coastlines, prepared by hand, and preserved in tins as an everyday staple. Fangst revives this heritage with a lighter, more refined expression that highlights the sprats’ naturally clean, savoury flavour. The gentle spice blend adds warmth without overpowering the fish. Enjoy on toasted bread, with potatoes, or as part of a simple Nordic-inspired tapas.
