Conserveira do Arade was founded in 2015 in Parchal, in Portugal’s Algarve region, with the goal of reviving the area's long-standing fish canning tradition. As one of the few officially certified artisanal canneries in mainland Portugal, it focuses on small-scale production and careful, hands-on methods.
