Collection: Artisans du Sel
Artisans du Sel specializes in crafting natural sea salt and Guérande Fleur de Sel along France's Atlantic coast within the ancient, 2000-year-old Guérande salt marshes. Founded in 1999 by a Guérande salt worker and his family, the company is now led by siblings Mérédith and Gautier Férard, both natives of the Guérande peninsula.
Located in Le Croisic, where the sun, wind, and low humidity of the Atlantic Ocean shape the landscape, Artisans du Sel produces natural salts sustainably and according to centuries-old artisanal methods passed down through generations. Their salts are meticulously hand-harvested without additives or high-temperature drying, preserving the natural richness of minerals from the salt marshes.
Guérande Fleur de Sel, often hailed as the "Porsche of salts," naturally crystallizes on the water's surface throughout the day. Harvested by hand from May to September and carefully dried for two years, it boasts a delicate texture and intense mineral flavor prized by renowned chefs and gourmets for enhancing both sweet and savory dishes.
