Organic Ceremonial Matcha Supreme Green Tea, 30g

Hand-selected organic matcha green tea from Kirishima, Japan, of the highest ceremonial quality – ideal enjoyed pure with warm water or as a matcha latte. Gently stone-ground from the first spring leaves, this matcha by Matchasome stands out for its high antioxidant content and finely balanced, natural umami. Its vibrant green colour and soft, slightly sweet flavour make it perfect for koicha, usucha, or a creamy matcha latte. Grown in the Kirishima region of Japan, carefully shade-grown and processed in small batches. One 30g tin yields approximately 25–30 servings – ideal for a daily matcha ritual.

Ingredients

100% organic ground green tea from Japan. Cultivar: Okumidori, Tsuyuhikari.

Preparation

Matcha Shot: Sift about 1 teaspoon of matcha powder (approx. 2–2.5g) into a bowl. Add 30–40ml of hot water (around 70°C) and whisk briskly in a zigzag motion until smooth and lightly foamy.

Usucha: For a classic usucha, dilute the matcha shot with an additional 30–40ml of hot water.

Matcha Latte: Top the freshly prepared matcha shot with 200–300ml of hot milk of your choice and stir gently.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
