Organic Hojicha powder from Kagoshima, Japan, by Matchasome – a gently roasted Japanese green tea powder with a nutty aroma, chocolate-brown color, and smooth, mellow taste. Naturally low in caffeine and rich in L-theanine, hojicha has a calming effect and can be enjoyed at any time of day. The roasting process makes it low in acidity and especially gentle on digestion, which is why it’s often enjoyed in Japan after meals. Hojicha powder can be prepared just like matcha – with warm, non-boiling water or your preferred milk. Each 30g tin makes around 25–30 servings.
