Limfjord Blue Mussels, Smoked Over Beech Wood, 100g

Limfjord Blue Mussels, Smoked Over Beech Wood, 100g

Blue mussels from Limfjord, smoked gently over beech wood and preserved in organic cold-pressed rapeseed oil. In the cool waters of the Danish Limfjorden, mussels grow slowly and develop a naturally sweet, clean flavour with a tender bite. While most Limfjord mussels are shipped abroad, a select share remains for these small, carefully made batches by Fangst. The beech-wood smoking adds a subtle warmth without overpowering the mussels’ delicate character. Enjoy with good bread, fold into warm grains, or serve as part of a simple Nordic-inspired spread.

From wild brisling caught in the Baltic Sea to mussels from the Limfjord and cod liver from Iceland, each can offers a pure taste of the North, subtly enhanced with organic herbs, berries, and cold-pressed organic rapeseed oil.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2018 by Martin and Rasmus, Fangst (Danish for "catch") is all about making Nordic fish a centrepiece at the table — ready to serve,...
