Matcha Crunch by Ocelot combines 70% Virunga dark chocolate with organic Matcha Iri Genmaicha, a Japanese blend of sencha, matcha and roasted brown rice. Fresh, buttery notes and gentle umami pair with the fruity, earthy depth of cacao sourced from a regenerative cooperative in Eastern Congo. Ideal with coffee or as a refined after-dinner bite.

• Cocoa Origin: Cocoa beans from the organic cocoa plantations in Virunga National Park in eastern Congo.

• Sugar: Made with raw organic cane sugar, uncarbonated and unbleached, preserving all the natural nutrients of sugar cane. This deepens the chocolate’s richness and creates a well-rounded flavor.

• Production: Cocoa beans are ethically sourced by Ocelot’s sister company, Original Beans, and transformed into couverture chocolate in Switzerland. This couverture, along with other ingredients listed on the label, is then used to craft chocolate bars in small batches at Ocelot’s Dundee, UK, workshop - ensuring peak freshness and quality.

Ingredients

Organic cocoa mass, organic raw unrefined cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, organic Iri Genmaicha Tea (organic green tea, organic brown rice, organic matcha tea powder) (4%). Cacao solids: 70% minimum. May contain traces of milk, tree nuts, peanuts, seeds (including sesame seeds & mustard seeds), soya, cereals (gluten), eggs and celery.

The story behind Ocelot

Ocelot Chocolate combines culinary artistry, ethical sourcing, and striking design. Founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife duo Ish and Matt Broadbent, their journey into chocolate began as chefs. Leaving their salaried jobs, they started in their home kitchen with a simple chocolate tempering machine bought with their wedding gift money.
