• Cocoa Origin: Rare organic Amelonado beans grown by a female-led cacao cooperative in Virunga National Park, Eastern Congo. These beans have a gentle yet distinctive flavor, reminiscent of honey on buttered toast.

• Sea Salt: Infused with Blackthorn Sea Salt, crafted using Scotland’s only graduation thorn tower—an ancient technique revived on the Ayrshire coast. West Coast sea water is slowly filtered through a labyrinth of thorns, where the wild Atlantic winds and sun naturally concentrate the brine. Under the skilled hands of Blackthorn’s Master Salters, the final salt crystals emerge with a perfect crunch and a mineral-rich depth, enhancing the chocolate’s balance with a wild Atlantic zing.

• Sugar: Made with raw organic cane sugar, uncarbonated and unbleached, preserving all the natural nutrients of sugar cane. This deepens the chocolate’s richness and creates a well-rounded flavor.

• Production: Amelonado beans are ethically sourced by Ocelot’s sister company, Original Beans, and transformed into couverture chocolate in Switzerland. This couverture, along with other ingredients listed on the label, is then used to craft chocolate bars in small batches at Ocelot’s Dundee, UK, workshop—ensuring peak freshness and quality.
