A vibrant blend of ripe tomato, chili and oregano surrounds these plump, hand-packed sardines, fished off Portugal’s southern coast. The heat is gentle but present, perfectly balanced by the richness of the fish, the fruitiness and acidity of the tomato, and the depth of the olive oil. Made by Papa Anzóis using certified artisanal methods. Ideal with grilled sourdough, soft polenta or a crisp glass of white wine.

Conserveira do Arade was founded in 2015 in Parchal, in Portugal’s Algarve region, with the goal of reviving the area's long-standing fish canning tradition.
