Fangst ✹ Copenhagen, Denmark

Faroe Islands Salmon, Smoked Over Beech Wood, 110g

Faroe Islands Salmon, Smoked Over Beech Wood, 110g

Beech-smoked Faroe Islands salmon with a clean, gently warming aroma - a refined, Nordic take on smoked salmon. Fangst works with small, responsible producers on the Faroes, where salmon grows in cold, fast-moving water that shapes its naturally firm and elegant texture. The slow, even beech-wood smoke adds depth without heaviness, letting the salmon’s purity stay at the center. Packed in organic cold-pressed rapeseed oil, it’s exceptional on dark bread, with soft-boiled eggs, or eaten straight for a simple, satisfying moment.

Rooted in Nordic waters, forests, and traditions, Fangst crafts exceptional tinned seafood with a deep respect for nature and the old ways of preserving it — curing, smoking, and canning. From wild brisling caught in the Baltic Sea to mussels from the Limfjord and cod liver from Iceland, each can offers a pure taste of the North, subtly enhanced with organic herbs, berries, and cold-pressed organic rapeseed oil.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2018 by Martin and Rasmus, Fangst (Danish for "catch") is all about making Nordic fish a centrepiece at the table — ready to serve,...
