Fangst ✹ Copenhagen, Denmark

Icelandic Monkfish Liver, Lightly Smoked in Own Oil, 115g

Icelandic Monkfish Liver, Lightly Smoked in Own Oil, 115g

Icelandic monkfish liver, lightly smoked and preserved in its own rich oil — a rare, clean expression of one of the sea’s most prized delicacies. Monkfish liver from the North Atlantic is valued for its silky texture and naturally deep flavour. In Iceland, generations of fishermen have mastered the careful handling of the whole catch, resulting in exceptionally pure liver with a refined taste. Fangst smokes it gently over beech wood and adds only a touch of salt. Enjoy on warm bread, with pickles, or as the centrepiece of a minimalist, elegant seafood plate.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2018 by Martin and Rasmus, Fangst (Danish for "catch") is all about making Nordic fish a centrepiece at the table — ready to serve,...
